Error saving estimate for this cashbook. .
Hi Folks,
I am getting an error on my Reckon One Estimate / Quote. I noticed that on some quotes with items more than 10.
I have tried duplicating the estimate and worked on the new one. Again, that new one also got an error after a few more entry.
Is there any limitation on the number of items in the quote / Estimate?

Morning @zarni
Welcome to the Reckon Community and thanks for flagging this.
From my understanding, there is not a specific limit for the number of items that can be added in an estimate. I have tested and seems to be working fine with more than 10 items.
You have mentioned that error appears when you enter more than 10 items.
Please confirm, if you have tried with less items in an estimate and it worked for you?
Also, if you can confirm what exact number of entries are you making for an estimate?
Regards
Tanvi

Hi Tanvi,
Thanks so much for the response.
I have 44 items at this moment, and I need to add a couple more, but I can't save it.
I will try it again after some time today.

Hi zarni,
From our experience at MMC Convert, there isn’t a defined limit on the number of items you can add to an Estimate in Reckon One. We’ve tested cases with more than 10 items, and they were saved without issues.
Since you're encountering the error after adding 44 items, we suggest:
- Testing if the estimate saves successfully with fewer items (e.g., under 30) to identify if the issue is linked to item volume.
- Checking for any special characters or unusual data in item descriptions or fields, which can sometimes trigger errors.
If the error persists even with fewer items, it could be a system-related glitch, and we’d recommend raising this with Reckon Support for a deeper review.
Should you need assistance in structuring large estimates or exploring workarounds, MMC Convert is happy to help.
