Copying customer/supplier/chart of accounts lists

Hi - I will soon have to transfer lists, with no history or figures to a new company on a new computer. If I click on the below lists to iif files, will it give me the option to choose which lists I want? I didn't want to click on it if it is going to take ages building something. Also, will it give me the option to save to a usb?
Sorry, I couldn't find anything in the search that was recent. 😃

Morning @54668
Yes, it will provide you with an option to select the list of IIF files to import. Please check this out - HOW TO: Simple steps for Exporting and Importing Lists (IIF) from Reckon Accounts Desktop and Hosted — Reckon Community
I hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know if any concerns. Thank you!

Thank you Tanvi. Perfect. I will be exporting to a new computer, so I assume I can transfer from the desktop location to a usb?
Sorry for my limited knowledge of I.T. haha

No worries @54668
Just a heads-up: if you're switching computers but using the same company file, you'll need to install Reckon Accounts Desktop on the new device. Copy your company files to a USB, then paste them onto the new computer. Make sure to save the files locally before opening them with the software to avoid errors.
If you're creating a new company file with the same Chart of Accounts or lists from the old data file, you can import/export IIF files. I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you!"

Thank you. It's a whole new company - we have been bought. I am assuming they will use Reckon (I hope) So it's just lists they will need, with no history. They will need to buy a new licence, etc and install on their new computer, then the fun begins.
