Reports not responding


First day was fine, but yesterday and today so far. Running reports is a pain in the butt.
Keeps going into not responding mode, takes a long time to run. And when trying to change dates, it doesn't like it. In the old platform, I used to be able to highlight the date and type over the top. Cannot do it in this new platform. Have to wait for it to respond, then delete the date and clear the field, then type in the date required.

I second that. Reports take such a long time to load.
This morning, i must have left a report in the background, because when i opened the company accounts, it just shows a "Building Report" progress status that just keeps building and i have not been able to get into the accounts to do anything yet. It's been 5mins and is still building ….. logging out and logging in again did not help as i couldn't over-ride the "building report" process.

I can highlight the date and type over it, I use Firefox and have for many years, despite it not being the recommended browser.
I just did my general ledger report and it took just under a minute and it was 325 pages long.
even though you logged out and back in again to no avail, you may have to logout of remote sessions in the control panel to fully shut down

I agree with @Kris_Williams. We haven't encountered any issues with the report on our end with the new platform. Might I suggest attempting the Verify-Rebuild-Verify process on your data file to see if that helps? Additionally, you could try clearing your cache and cookies, as this sometimes resolves related concerns.

@JO-ANNE_7327707 have you had the issue of not being able to type over the date anywhere else, I've come across it when trying to update prices on invoices, I've had to tab to a new line then table back before being able to update it

try pressing Ctrl A when you are in the field you want to type over
