Can I import opening stock quantities and cost

Hi

I have set up a new file and imported a list of inventory items using an .IIF file, however it didn't bring across the quantity or cost information.

How do you import the quantity of a stock item when importing a list of items?

I don't want to do an inventory valuation adjustment as there are 1000s of items.

Is there a work around?
