Opening a Stored .rkn file

Upgraded to a new desk top PC, received a new Installation Key to open Quicken and at 1st Quicken start up, when attempting to 'Open File', it will only look for .qdf files. My last back up on the old PC stored a .rkn file. How do I open this file?

    Hi @jeffc2

    You need to use the 'Restore' option.

    Open Reckon, then File > Restore Backup File > (select the most recent .rkn file )
