Reckon Accounts Hosted 2025 - Slow Response


I upgraded to RAH 2025 last week, and since doing so have found the the reponse time between moving between fields and screens is very delayed.
If I am selecting from a drop down list, I choose one option, but the response is so slow it ends up moving to another option as the mouse has moved.
This delay is driving me crazy and making everything take so much longer having to wait for the system to catch up.
Is there anyway I can go back to the 2024 version?

Unfortunately, there is no way to go back to the 2024 version of Reckon Accounts. However, I recommend completing a full file rebuild to help correct any errors that may be present in the file. As the new Hosted experience should be the same without significant delays.
Also, what web browser are you using? I highly recommend switching to Chrome and see if the same behavior persists.
Could you let me know if the lag is specific to a certain task/area in Hosted. If so, what is it?

I am using Chrome. The lag is occuring on every option in Hosted and on all company files. I did not have this lag prior to the new version, so do not understand why there would be anything wrong with my data files

I have completed a file rebuild. There were no errors found. It hasn't really help at all, there is still a lag.

Hi @LeanneSch,
If possible, could you attempt to use another device to access Hosted incase it's the device itself. As we haven't had reports around the entire of Hosted being slowed down completely as this is a first.

How large is your QBW file?
If you have more than one user logged in to the data file at the same time, how many users would that be?
If you are in Multi-User mode, can you confirm if there is much difference in the 'slowness' if you switch to Single-User mode vs Multi-User mode?

I used a different device today and it seems to be better. I don't know why is slow on the other device as it was ok using 2024 version. Do you have any suggestions on what i may be able to do? It is single user mode, only one user.

I'm having the same issues. I'm on a Mac. I contacted support they suggested my file may be too large but I have other files that are much smaller and am having the issues in those. It doesn't appear to be a connection problem as everything else is ok. This problem only began when I moved to the new version about a month or so ago.
