How do I find out my password for my old Back-up files?

How do I find out the password for my old Back Up files. To access the old files I used a biometric finger swipe, not a password.

My new computer does not have a finger swipe option and I'm wanting to install the old back-up files onto my new Quicken Personal Plus software.

Note: There is no guarantee that a password can be removed for a Reckon Accounts Personal Plus/Home & Business data file.

Dear @PhilB ,

Your best bet would be to see where your old computer saved your password lists and try to attain it this way.

Reckon Accounts Personal Plus/Home & Business otherwise cannot have its password removed outside of sending it to Data Recovery.
