Unrecoverable error when entering invoice
Not what I want on a Friday afternoon.
Entering data into customer invoice and this error has appeared.

Looks like you need to rebuild your file. I've learned here from the Community that rebuilding 3 times in succession is the magic trick.
You should probably re- sort your lists while you're at it

Well, did you do it 3x in succession or just once? 3x is the charm from what I gather.
More to the point though, it sounds like you're file is in sore need of some TLC. How large is it?

I think we are all in need of some TLC after this year so far haha
Yes it is quite a large file, but each time I do everything I'm told to do. It's okay for awhile, then off it goes on its own tangent again.

if you have a large file it might be a good idea to rebuild data on a regular basis whenever you have time
