#TipTuesday - The much-awaited Terms and Conditions in invoices! 📋️

Good morning, everyone!
Happy #TipTuesday! I'm really excited to share some great news about Reckon One! Did you know you can now easily add your Terms and Conditions directly into your invoice templates?
Yes, you heard that right!
Our awesome team has rolled out a new feature that makes your invoicing even more customizable. A big thank you to all of you who voted and shared your ideas—they really helped us bring this feature to life. We love hearing from you and appreciate your input😊
How do we add T&C's to our invoices?
To add T&Cs, navigate to your invoice template via Settings ➡️ Manage Invoice Templates ➡️ Select the Invoice Template ➡️ Content ➡️ Footer ➡️ Toggle Terms and Conditions on
You may now proceed to include your Terms and Conditions.
Example:
After saving, the Terms and Conditions, will automatically appear at the bottom of your invoice the next time you create one.
✅ Things to know
- You can add Terms & Conditions directly into the field or copy and paste from another document to the T&C's field.
- We have added formatting functionalities, such as heading levels, text styles (e.g., bold, italics), alignment options, and ordered lists.
- When you print or email an invoice with Terms & Conditions added to the template, they will be included in the invoice PDF attachment after the invoice itself.
- If you use multiple invoice templates, you'll need to enable T&C's on each template and add in terms and conditions on each template.
- The invoice text field has a limitation of 50000 characters limit. Characters include letters, numbers, punctuation, spaces, and symbols. Should be enough for a lengthy T&C.
I hope this helps you with your invoicing! Including Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) on your invoices isn't just about ticking a box; it’s a smart move to safeguard your business and make things run smoother.
Thank you all!

Hi @klaura
Can we duplicate terms and conditions across all our templates or do we need to copy them over to each template?

Hi @Eric Murphy,
We need to copy the Terms and condition to each template at this time.
Best regards,
Karren
