Fund Received from Non Customer

Good morning everyone,

We received the fund from Construction Visa Subsidy Program. It's one time fund receipt. They are not in the list as we don't receive from them on regular basis. Could anyone please help me how to receive this in reckon ? Thank you for the assistance.

I would do a sales receipt and create an item called subsidy linked to an income account of the same name if that is in fact what it is. You need to know if it has GST or not and code it accordingly
