#TipTuesday - Customise your invoice template with a header image this holiday season! 🎄

Say goodbye to plain, old, boring invoices!
As you may know, Reckon One launched brand new invoice templates! One of the key features of the new templates allow you to add headers or promotional graphics to your invoices, making them more relevant and eye catching.
For example, you could add a seasonal header for the upcoming holiday season! Not only that, but you can also now change the colour of key elements in the template to match your theme!
I'm getting into the Christmas spirit early and will show you how to add a little touch of Christmas magic to your invoices! 🎄
Adding a Header image
Save your image
- Save your seasonal or promotional image as a JPEG or PNG file.
Recommended dimensions: around 300-600 pixels wide for logos or banners.
Keep file size under 5 MB for best performance.
Manage Template
Navigate to Settings › General › Manage invoice templates.- Select the Bold invoice template
- You might consider duplicating the template from this point onward, to help preserve the original template in its initial form.
- In this example, I named my duplicate as "Bold invoice (X'mas template)".
Access the Duplicate template- Under Header image, Drag & drop or browse the image you saved on your computer to add it to the header.
- Choose whether to apply the header image to just the first page by ticking the Apply to First Page Only box, or to include on all pages if you're invoices are multiple pages leave it unticked.
Feel free to personalize your template by changing the colors to match your theme. Just head over to Feature Color and pick your favorite from the available options.
Click the Refresh Preview button to see a live preview of your changes and then click save. And don't forget to Change default template.
You've got a shiny new template ready to rock this holiday season!
I hope you find this tip helpful!
Wishing you a happy #TipTuesday!

This is quite fun but can we choose our own colours for the Feature Colour setting?

Yes, Eric. We’ve got 11 colors available right now.

User selectable specific custom colors by entering hex color codes or maybe even determining an automatic color palette based on logo colors, etc may be available in a future update if someone puts it in as a New Idea so others can vote on it. :)
