I have a problem with my Reckon file. The QDF file has damaged scheduled transactions
Validating the file removes some damaged scheduled transactions, but Validating the QDF file again does not remove any more 'damaged scheduled transaction'.
The next time I open the file, additional 'damaged scheduled transactions' are present. I will attach a screen shot of my Reckon file.
Any thoughts / support will be greatly appreciated.

Super validate the file as well. Or it might be time to start a new file.

Hi @MalO1949
As indicated by Eric, you can try making use of the Super Validate function.

When did you first encounter the issue with damaged scheduled transactions?
Consider making use of an older copy or backup of the file from a time before you encountered the problem.

Many thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. To make a new file, can I transfer the data from my old file to the new file, or will this just transfer my problem to the new file?

Hi @MalO1949
For what it is worth, I had a similar issue some months back. I tried all sorts of things to fix the problem. But, in the end I had to bite the bullet and delete all my scheduled transactions and reinput from a clean slate!
It's been all good, since!
Cheers

Hi JC,
Many thanks for your thoughts. If I delete 'all my scheduled transactions', does this delete all the data on my file? Can you explain 'reinput from a clean slate' please?

In my case @MalO1949, all the transactions that had resulted from the implementation of previously scheduled transactions all remained intact. By 'clean slate', I mean I deleted all the scheduled transactions that related to future dated transactions, thus leaving none at all. I then recreated all my scheduled transactions for future occurring transactions.

Many thanks John for this information. I will give it a go.
