Hi i have noticed the since the 25th of September that I have no new transactions showing up in fast coding for both accounts I use, they are both setup through Yodlee, ( I think as mine are not Commbank Biz accounts I can’t setup the other way. I have re authenticated my login numerous times, it is showing as active, but it won’t show nay new uncoded transactions.

Has anyone else had this issue or know how to solve it.

Cheers

Liam

    Hi @Liam Francisco,

Unfortunately, Yodlee is currently facing issues with multiple banks at the moment and we recommend that you switch over to Direct feeds or Open Banking at this time.

The reason I am making this recommendation as our team has discovered recently with the Yodlee feeds, you need to reauthenticate each time because of the new MFA security feature implemented by Commbank.

Please let me know, if there is anything else I can help you with at this time.

Thank you Lucas I will look into the other options, I am not sure if I can use them as my accounts are personal accounts that I have been using since 1999. The bank keeps telling me that I need to get "Business accounts" but there is no legal requirement for that, plus I pay no fees for my current accounts. I am a sole trader with a few staff and this has worked well for me up until now. I intend on retiring in 5 years and would rather not have to change my accounts. I will see over the weekend if I can set up the other way. Cheers Liam

    Hi @Liam Francisco,

You can definitely use personal accounts and they are easier to setup I believe for Open banking since you do not need to nominate yourself as a representative as it's not a business one.

Let me know, how you go and I will be here when you get back from the weekend.

    Hi Liam

We're in a similar position and would be interested to know if you went with open banking or a direct feed. How easy was it to setup?

Hi Sydneyflow, I went with the open banking, it has worked with one account, the second one is showing as linked and active, but no transactions are showing up yet. I believe this is actually a business credit card account and I may have to setup permissions in Commbank, but I probably won’t get time this week to do that.

It wasn’t hard to setup, I was a little hesitant in allowing access to my bank accounts to a third party, but it seems secure. I watched a video that I believe was on the page that Lucas has linked above which has setup open banking.

Good luck with yours, it is so frustrating when something is working well and then someone makes a change that messes that up.

    Cheers Liam

    Hi @SydneyFlow,

Direct feeds can take up to 7 - 10 business days and just requires you to sign as the account holder and we will import the transactions for you. However, sometimes these feeds can break in the odd chance it does happen that's where Open Banking is superior.

Open Banking just requires that you be a nominated representative when attempting to attach your business accounts, but for personal accounts it does not require this permission. The good thing about Open Banking is that you can backdate transactions and the feed is highly undisrupted even if you change account passwords and more that usually would break your feeds with Yodlee.

Let me know, if you need any help and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Hi @Liam Francisco,

It's great that you managed to get Open Banking up and you're definitely correct about business credit card accounts. You will need to have yourself setup as a nominated representative to allow the transactions to flow through.
