How to Export Super File from Hosted to Quick Super (Host Plus)

Normally I manually enter our super however with the changes next year I want to have a quicker way to do it. I have tried exporting in the past but no luck. I just tried both the export super data and export saf options. Both came up with errors. Errors have been different. Latest one was as follows

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. The requirements are that it is a csv file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Leanne, is this happening when you upload your file to Quick Super?

From your image it looks like it's try to find specific information in those fields but can't or isn't in the right format. Have you check that out?

It is happening when I try and upload the file to Quick Super. I agree it looks like it is trying to find specific info. I am just not sure how or what to change to that there are no errors.

If it's not missing information then it's usually the format that it's upset at

I'd start with each of the fields that are listed in column E of your image.

It looks like it's all related to the first employee in the file, if that's what column C is referring to

I've also attempted to upload files to QuickSuper and it tells me its not in the correct format.

Like Leanne above I'm trying to get a jump start on the changeover to take effect as at 1/7/26 in regards to STP and super.

How soon next year are the PayDay super changes going to be introduced? I'd like to be well across this before July as I'm sure there will be many teething problems?

I had to go to the upload file settings in Quick super after logging in and change the file format to YYYY/MM/DD. After that all I had to do was export the saff file from Reckon and import to Quick Super. First things that happened was it picked up errors in Reckon e.g. M/s instead of Miss or Mrs. Mostly little things

I attempted it when the SAFF file feature first came in, but didn't have time to investigate the mapping errors then, so I might give it another try @Kris_Williams ! 😁🤞🏻

I spoke to someone from Australian Super (QuickSuper) and he talked me through it. I had to go to the file format settings in the upload file section and select that format I mentioned above

Hi all those following along on the super export saga

I fixed up the dates as you suggested Kris to YYYY/MM/DD. I just tried exporting and was all excited. Unfortunately that was shortlived. I got 541 errors

These included multiple of the following. I guess on the positive side there are only 6 different errors. Just need to know how to fix them and can then apply the fix to all of the employees

An employee with Payroll ID '100' already exists but does not match to details provided for this contribution.

Contribution period end date '2025-12-31' is not in expected format 'YYYY/MM/DD'.

Contribution period start date '2025-10-01' is not in expected format 'YYYY/MM/DD'.

Date of birth '1970-02-25' is not in expected format 'YYYY/MM/DD'.

Employment end date '2025-11-01' is not in expected format 'YYYY/MM/DD'.

Fund ID 'HOS100AU' is not registered for use.

in addition to above I went through the file and fixed up all the errors, date formats and then tried uploading but still got an error.

I didn't fix the payroll id error as I couldn't work out what was wrong there.

I never had to change the date format within any of the employees details, it was the file upload format. Call me tomorrow and I’ll tell you what I did. 0415940843

the payroll id is the employee number, do a report showing payroll number and see if there’s a duplicate no 100, or someone who is terminated

@Leanne_7663246 I'm not sure if you fixed the payroll ID error but I have a solution for you (or anyone else who may find this post for help). In QuickSuper look up that particular employee and compare the information in QuickSuper to the information you have in Reckon. I just helped a client where 2 empoyees DOB's were incorrect in QuickSuper compared to what was in Reckon (Reckon information was correct). The reason this had not been picked up before is my client was adding contributions manually to QuickSuper. Now that we uploaded a SAFF file that information comes across and is double checked.

Once we fixed the DOB's in QuickSuper & uploaded the same SAFF file it was all accepted without errors.
