VIEW PASSWORD IN RECKON ACCOUNTS HOSTED

Hi Team,

I am trying to sign in to RAH today on a different computer but for the life of me I can't remember my password.

I jumped on my computer to check the password saved (I ticked "Remember me") but you can't see the actual details (just **************).

Is there a way to view the password without having to reset it? I don't want to reset it as I am only using the computer I am on now just for today.

    Hi @JEN

    Is the autofill saved by the browser or on Reckon Hosted?

    There is a chance you can see it if its saved by the browser by checking the password manager here:

    Otherwise, I apologise but you may need to reset it.

    Hi Jason,

    Unfortunately it's not saved in Google Password Manager. I am not going to reset the password at this stage.

    This is a tad annoying that there isn't an option to view the password. I might drop an ideas request for Reckon to implement it.

    Thanks Jen,

    Unfortunately, for security reasons, we don’t have access to view passwords either. We can only assist with resetting them.

    A cool idea might be, to have an option in the control panel to view your password after logging in or something along those lines. That way, you can maintain security while still having easier access when needed.

    Further to what Jason mentioned, could you please confirm which browser you're currently using to access Reckon Accounts Hosted?

    Different browsers handle password management in various ways, and if you’ve selected “Remember me,” it’s possible that your browser has saved the credentials for future use.

    I’ll be happy to assist further once I have this information.

    Thank you for reaching out to me.

    I am using Google Chrome but I couldn't find any saved information for RAH. It would be handy to have access to my password in case I am on another computer (like yesterday).
