Registering software ID with ATO for a client

Hi, I'm a registered agent and when setting up our client on our Reckon GovConnect portal, at the point where I need to register the software ID for STP purposes, it only gives the option to call the ATO, but as they are experiencing long delays, I can't get through. Does anyone know if there is an alternative way of registering the software ID.

Hi Reeta, the registration is for a client, not one of my personal companies. I'm sure access manager is for one of the companies you are either a director of or authorised for.

@Agatha you client needs to register the software ID and then share the book with you. They also need to nominate you as their registered agent in the STP menu
