How to show a detailed P+L in order of regular P+L ????

Question

I am trying to get a P+L in detail. The best I can do is the General ledger report. However it comes out all mixed up, not in the order of my P+L. I manage houses and have the sub account under H1  and H2 etc, but they are not displaying in that order when getting a general ledger report. Any ideas would be appreciated. When I get a P+L report they are in the proper order. Cheers in advance Anita

Hi @Anita,

Currently, a Detailed Profit and Loss report is not available. However, you can view individual transactions by clicking on each amount within the account, which will open the Account Enquiry for that particular account.

HI, Yes I have done this a 1000 times under both profit and loss and under general ledger to get the report I want. Reckon desktop has this function and I would have thought it would be standard. Can you please ask technical support. I put in a request for support and the answer I got was "

Please note you can find the P&L report under reporting-> Reports and select Financial in categories."

Which was not helpful!

Hi @Anita ,

Hey, have you tried using the Show More option to customize the report? It should let you sort accounts in order and show all the subaccounts. In the P&L and in all other reports, you can click on the amount to see what makes up that account.
