Lock dates

Question

Hi, I don't understand Reckon One Lock dates. I have locked up till 30/06/25 .

I think imported new transactions for july aug…. BUT i can still delete transactions before the 30/06/25.

So what does the lock actually lock?

I am worried about mucking up last years figures etc and dont wont to pay for a new book each month, but roll the book on to this financial year. How do you stop previous figures being touched!

Hi @Anita ,

Bank transactions that have been imported can still be deleted because they have not been processed or allocated to your transactions in Reckon One. Once processed, they all appear in Reckon One transactions. If the payment or receipt you see in Reckon One Transactions was processed after the lock-off date, they can still be deleted; however, you cannot delete the invoice or bills themselves if they were created before the lock-off date.

HI Karren, I have locked the booked lock off date.

The book lock off date is 30/06/25 .

Yet I can delete transactins  in bank accounts, and reckon one transactions when it should be locked. ????

. It does not appear in transactions. So where it the account actually locked?

Hi @Anita,

I would like to clarify a couple of points. When you mention that you imported transactions for July and were able to delete transactions prior to 06/30/25, are you referring to the bank transactions?

Additionally, are you referring to the book lock off date or the bank lock off date?
