Previous month calendar dates for leave

When entering leave dates for employees in the payrun, it would be so handy to have the current month and previous month pop up to choose from rather than the current month and the next month (which hasn't even arrived). With a payrun early in a new month, having to choose the month prior to pick dates from is a pain when there's the next month sitting there that doesn't apply to this pay run.

Thanks for raising this idea! 🙂 I just wanted to get a bit more info from you for clarification.

Are you using the new payrun experience at the moment? (info here).

The only reason I ask is, on the new experience, rather than using the date picker/calendar you can simply type in the leave dates in the start date and end date fields. I wondered whether that might be easier/better for you?

The new experience still has a date picker on those fields as well which defaults to the current month.

Would love to get your thoughts on whether that's a better option or not so much?

Hi Rav.

Thanks for your reply. I am not currently using the new payrun experience as when I did try it, I found limitations that I felt it made it more difficult to use. I did provide feedback at the time but just can't remember what those limitations were at this point in time. I am going on leave at the end of this week so won't be processing the next fortnightly payrun so will have to leave it to the following to be able to provide more info.
