I've just uploaded my first SAFF file to CBUS Quicksuper. CBUS alerted me this file will add an "Address line 2" to our employees' records and be passed on to their super funds. That address line 2 will be the town, state and postcode details for our employees.
I have checked my Reckon employee records, and each employee is set up correctly with an Address line 1, then the City, State and Postcode fields completed. The second address line in Reckon is blank. Yet when the SAFF file is created, as well as the above information it adds an "Address Line 2" to the file which is the City State Postcode fields concatenated into one line.
This means the information being sent to Quicksuper in the SAFF file looks like:
Mr Good Employee
54 Example Street
Sydney NSW 2000
Sydney NSW 2000
The town/state/postcode is being included as Address line 2 so in the file twice, whereas it should be blank because all that information is already correctly included in the Locality, Postcode and State fields.
I thought it was a problem on CBUS's end, but when I opened the file I see it is being sent to them incorrectly from Reckon.
Is there some special tweak I need to do to stop this happening, or is this a software bug that needs fixing? It is going to muddle our employees details with the super funds if left as is, and I don't want to have to open the .csv file and edit it every single payday to remove this field.
