Contractors and Sub-Contractors Reports with Totals

Question

Hi There,

My insurance company has asked for Contractors and Sub-Contractors estimated total spend for the financial year 2025-2026. I tried to to print a TPAR report and export it into excel to total off each column but it doesn't work.

How else can I print a report to give me the same figures as the TPAR report with totals?

There’s a few options for reporting …. whichever one you go with, be sure to Memorise it.  That way, you can just re-run it every year, rather than needing to create it from scratch again, each time! 😊

* Do you post all contractor Bills/Chqs to the same account ?  If so, generate &modify a specific report on that account (or drill-down into it from a Profit & Loss) for the required Date(s)

* If you use the “Supplier Type” field for Contractors/Subcontractors, you could generate a report filtered for the Date(s) & to just that Supplier Type

* Alternatively, you can do a Find, filtered for the Date range, specific Contractor/Subcontractor Supplier names & Bill/Chq Transaction Type

OK, I may have found a way to do it, I think.

I've gone into the Supplier Centre, then click on Transactions, then click on Bills and then chose the date.

This gives me all the bills I've paid. Export to Excel and now I just have to sort the Suppliers from the Sub-Contractors.

Is there and easier way?
