Error trying to email pay slip in Reckon Desktop V35

the following error message is received

“An internal error occurred while preparing your message. It has not been sent. (MAPI error code 00000000 (0) at line 921 in sendemail.cpp)”

I have checked the Knowledge base and this is in there BUT I do not have the QBPrint.QBP file in my Reckon V35 folder, what is solution know??

This normally occurs if Outlook's handshake protocols have been altered by recent Windows updates.
Could you please perform the following steps and see if this resolves the issue?
Change Email Preference to Outlook V2

Go to Edit.
Select Preferences.
Select Send Forms.
Under My Preferences, change the email option from Outlook to Outlook V2.
Try sending an email again.

Also, The QBPrint.QBP file is not stored in the main Reckon application folder.
It is typically located in the hidden Windows directory:
C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Reckon Accounts [Year]
(or a similar system folder).
To access this location, open File Explorer, select View, and enable Hidden items so that the ProgramData folder is visible.

Please let me know the outcome after completing these steps, and I'll be happy to assist further if needed.

I have just done a re-search of the Reckon V35 folder with the "hidden files" under view switched on - still no QBPrint file vivsible?

ok I have located the folder now…

I tried by changing the option to Classic V2 but error message is now saying that outlook is not installed or that the installation is damaged. please insta;; outlook before you use this option.

Outlook is working fine re emails etc??

It's going to be a little difficult for us to troubleshoot this further as we don't support Microsoft Outlook as a software.

However, I've come across the following community post which outlines some steps that other users have successfully used to resolve similar email-related issues.
Upgrade to Reckon Desktop v35 has broken email via gmail and Outlook cannot be setup for gmail

Have tried a few of these steps..to no avail

sounds like the resolution may be in the fact that we no longer have the choice when using @gmail.com account and the person who found a workaround within Google workspace and synching - this is way above my "paygrade" I am afraid as I have ONLY ONE employee I will accept defeat at this stage and manually send his payslip via email and attachment

Thanks anyway - if someone can give a workaround that the average tech person can follow I would really appreciate it..
