Hi all,
I only realise today that the sTP upload I did on 15/7/2026 has the following error message. Are you able to advise what to do please?
- The value specified for an item does not match the item type (value = "-770.34", item type = Decimal, uniqueID = http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevntemp:EmployerContributionsYearToDateA) Hint: The MinInclusive constraint failed.
After looking into this, I notice the issue is caused by the maternity leave not being an QE but we have voluntarily paid super on it. The employee is on Salary Sacrifie as well. She is only back to work not long ago. The pay on 15/7/2026 has 6 days of maternity leave and 2 normal work days.
ATO's QE calculation was the 2 normal work days' pay minus the salary sacrifice, which resulted in the negative of 770.34, causing the error.
Do I need to do any update event to correct the 15/7/2026 submission?
Today's pay (29/7/2026) is just completed. If I simply do the 29/7/2026 submission only, would it override the error in the 15/7/2026 submission therefore I shouldn't need to do any separate update event to correct the 15/7/2026 submisson?
Looking forward to your advice.
