My accountant just informed me that I paid 11.5% super in the 25/26 year instead of 12% and I need to repay. I am updating this version at a high cost each June and why did it fail to update tax tables? Does the user need to do this manually?
the super is not included in tax tables, but I have seen this before too. There are a couple of places where the super % has to be updated manually. Good to know this is not going to change again
There was a new way to update super that came out in last year's version and there 700 messages that would pop-up to alert you.
Yes thats an exaggeration but it got a bit annoying to tell the truth but I guess that was the point to get the message across.
Kris is right though, super doesn't have anything to do with the tax tables.
There was an email sent last year to all Reckon Accounts desktop customers around mid June 2025 advising of the new 2025 desktop version and this is what part of the content of that email said:
"Super Guarantee Rate Updates
You are now required to manually update the SG rate using the new Update Super Rate feature. This tool makes it easy to apply the updated rate across all applicable payroll items and employees in just a few clicks, replacing the previous update process."
Hope that helps explain
Thanks, I must have missed the bit about having to manually update the supper %
