Hey Janie, welcome to the Reckon Community. Do you have multi-currency enabled? If so, do you use multiple currencies? If not, it might be beneficial to restart a new company file and not enable multi-currency (once enabled it cannot be switched off). Thanks, Mirko.

Hey Janine, Multi currency settings are in the preferences section (see below screenshot). As per above post (and pop up in screenshot below), once turned on, it cannot be switched off (would need to start a new company file).
Check if Multi-Currency is enabled on your company file, if no it could be another issue (unlikely).
Cheers,
Mirko

Hi Janie,
It's most likely due to the Windows Regional settings that are selected on that PC.
Go to 'Windows Start Menu > Control Panel > Region & Language' and make sure that English (Australia) is selected.
Also, click on Additional Settings > Currency and in the 'Currency Symbol' field make sure the Dollar Sign is selected.
Once you've made any changes to the above, close and reopen EasyStart and it should use the correct currency symbol.1 -
OMG....you are a genius!!! yes that worked ....................thank you!!!
Now is there any way I can change reports from cash basis to accrual.....there doesnt seem to be anywhere in Easystart I can change it??

Hi Janie,
Accrual reporting is available in EasyStart, you would need at least the Accounting version for this.
