Hello, In regards to Reckon Accounts Pro 2014. When processing customer payment via Credit Card, i have noticed that Reckon accounts seems to store the customer CC details for future transactions (eg. showing last 4 digits of the credit card). Reckon accounts program only asks for the 3 digit CVV number when processing subsequent transactions. Is the storage of custmer CC details in Reckon accounts a preference setting? or it a non adjustable automatic function of the program? I wonder about the security of the Customer CC details.

It's not a preference and it is encrypted. It's not mandatory to use it either.

Hi Kev, If its not mandatory, how can the program be adjusted so that it does not store the data after processing a transaction?

Hey, I've chased this one up with our developers. They've advised that it is not a setting which can be automated but.... you can edit the Customer Record to delete the CC Number. You would though, need to do it after each CC transaction though. They also stressed that the numbers are heavily encrypted.
