How do I run older product versions using compatibility mode in Windows 8

Windows 8 has some compatibilty tools that may help with running an older product in the newer operating system.
* Run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter wizard in Windows 8.1
If your older program ran successfully in say Windows XP but not in Windows 8, try running it in 'compatibility mode' as Windows XP to see if that helps.

Oh look here I lied. Sorry. You can do it using Hyper - V visualization feature. If you have Professional or above it might be easier to use compatibility mode0
