Given the new Hosted API, I think connecting with the Zapier network would add a diverse (& extensive) new set of capabililities. Being able to connect to scheduling, CRM, voice & invoicing systems, this would be a huge achievement for the Reckon dev team, and give the customers a whole new way of working within the platform. The Zapier network is robust and its diversity means that Reckon's platform would join it and strengthen the API capabililities without having to create new connections for each new 'add on' platform. Ideally I'd love to connect (at a minimum) to platforms such as Zoho, SugarCRM, Capsule and Acuity, Mailchimp & customer support platforms, and with Zapier it can be done. In an ideal world I'd love to see Reckon produce their own CRM & appointment platforms or API connections to these existing apps, however, until such time an ideal world comes to pass, a Zap would be a happy compromise.
