I am unable  to share my Reckon Accounts Data file with the Accountant who is working overseas as it is too large to send it via email. Is there any other recommendation way I could share my file so that he/she could work on the same file once i am done.
A quick response would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

You can try to email a backup, but this might also be too large.
You could try to upload it using DropBox and send your accountant the link.

Thank you very much for the quick response.

I have tried doing a backup, but unfortunately it takes hours to complete it. Any suggestions on that?

Due to security reasons I am unable to use the Drop Box method as well.

Chandra so does sendthisfil.com and yousendit.com. I think the idea is we want to work on it in real time. You can also use showmypc.com

Your data file must be huge if takes too long to backup. Or maybe it might be trying to a verfication. If you do the backup without any verfication it is much quicker, but that also depends on the size of your file.
If it is too large, if it has been the same file for years, it mgiht be a good idea to start a new file every couple of years.

It takes around 3h to complete a backup. So what we do is we do the back up over night but then when we come back the next morning it had got stuck and had not completed the back up.

And THAT is why it is taking so long. You should copy it to the local drive before backing it up. I assume you arent using TS?

You might need to check your backup settings to see if you can make the time for backup quicker.
