Importing Timesheets into Reckon Hosted

We have just started using TimeTarget as a rostering and time recording system and would like to import the information into Accounts Hosted. We have not used the timesheet facility in Reckon to date. I can export the information in TimeTarget to an .IIF file format but I don't know how to get the information into Reckon. I expect I would need to turn on the timesheet facility but would need some instruction and advice.

Does anyone else use TimeTarget or know how to set up an import?

Is there a work instruction somewhere on-line?

Have you thought of asking Time Target. Just sayin. They might already have a procedure

hi, There are some users using Pro timer very old app, which was used in QuickBooks Pro Time to import , I have noticed.

if this does not help , we have an automated tool that can import say 300 time sheet into
RECKON in around 20 to 30 mins

We have not used timesheets in Reckon before. Are you aware of any information re the set up in the knowledge browser? I can't see anything but expect there would be something there. I am hoping to import directly from TimeTarget rather then via another tool.

hello Karen,
Time Target has option to export file they will configure to what Reckon Accounts require, then this file needs to be imported either using iif ( my experience tells me its always messy never 1st hit jobusing iif or some people use Pro timer ?).
Or seek to automate the import with hard coded import tool to sync into Reckon

Some users use Old Timer pro or IIF . but you nee to do manual mapping.
We don't use these options at all .
If you have weekly wages for business sense , time and cost laborious process , its not right.You save lots of time and cost using automation tools, this makes sense.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am now back to trying to complete this project.

TimeTarget have advised they require a field called 'Company Create Time' or something like that. They believe it will be a string of about 10 digits long.

Do you know where I can locate this field?
