renewal for home and business

im having issues after my recent renewal.  Im trying to install the new 2020 version.  I have uninstalled 2019 version but have a reckon online compatibility check V2 program still on my laptop.  it wont allow me to uninstall this program.
what can I do to get this new version installed. thank you

    How have you tried to remove the old version? I recommend Revo uninstaller. There's a free version.

    i used Revo and after trying to install the 2020 version I got the same message... there is a another version of reckon accounts installed on the computer and to uninstall it first.  I cannot find another version anywhere

    im searching on Revo and the control panel... there are no reckon programs anywhere. but I keep getting the message about me uninstalling older versions

    Hi Kylie - may seen weird but are there any programs called Quicken or CashBook on your system as they would need uninstalling too.
