Reckon Accounts Home & Business 2020

How can I transfer a file from my home computer which has Home & Business 2012 to a new computer which has Home & Business 2020 just installed on it. Reckon Australia told me it was easy to do before buying 2020

but when I call back for tech help they tell me no one is trained in the product and referred me to this forum.

Can any one help please.

    Backup your file in the old version, open the new version and RESTORE the file. This is the way with most other versions.

    Thank you for your reply Chris and what you have suggested is what I am doing.

    It has worked now, I don't know what or how but the data has transferred over.

    I had been trying since yesterday !
