Annual cap for leave accruals

I'm after some clarification on what the ''maximum number of hours" means under both personal and holiday leave tabs. Is it a yearly accrual cap that could have 152 hours entered there? If so, does it reset every 12 months from employee's start date?

Or is it an overall balance cap?

Any unused Annual & Personal Leave hours both carry over however this wasn't the case many years ago so I believe it relates to that. As I said though, it is not applicable anymore so this box should be left BLANK!
