Hi

I am trying to track the time my employees spend per job, the time I spend in the office and time spent on maintenance of equipment to get a complete job costing. I have tried to find the heading under reports but it doesnt show up. It tells me how to add it in the help section though. I am using reckon accounts plus desktop 2021. Hoping some one can help :)

    How are you tracking these activities eg by Jobs, Items, Mileage &/or Classes?

    OK …. Do you have specific Jobs or Items set up for the activities you want to track (eg Equipment Maintenance, Office etc) & are you allocating employee time to these on Timesheets &/or Paycheques ?

    I have specific jobs. Example Mow reg priced per quote.

    I dont know how to set up time sheets, thats what I'm after. I do the office work, but have no idea how to track the time spent on this task. Also, I'd like to know how I can track the labour invoved in each individual job my worker does. I have a tracking system on the vehicle so I know the time he spends, how do I transfer that to each client?

    Enable Time Tracking in your Preferences (accessed under the Edit dropdown menu):

    This will automatically then have the timesheet option available:

    The timesheets/activities link directly through to Payroll & will prefill the employee Paycheque hours accordingly.

    To allocate time against Jobs, you need to select the applicable Customer:Job in the designated column, when entering expenses (eg on bills, cheques, credit card charges etc), hours/time (timesheets, paycheques) & mileage:
