TEMPLATES CUSTOMIZATION OUTSIDE DESIGNER
Hi team,
is there any way to customize all templates for PO invoices SO etc outside Designer and re-import them once modified.
Designer seems to be an absolute waste of time...

The RA Layout Designer & customisation features are quite extensive - What is it you're trying to do specifically ?

this is how our new customized PO should look like.
I will have thought that the " PO file within Reckon" can be opened by notepad or MS Word or a more friendly software outside Reckon. To achieve what we need I will have spend a week per template. Sizing each box, using a grid in inches...
I will have thought that all data fields and text can be imported within the "components" folder.

That's a lot of formatting but it can be achieved within the template customisation in RA. The only thing not available at the moment is the line numbering.
Once you have set it up how you want it, you can then "Duplicate" the format/style for other variations or form types (eg invoices, SOs etc) π

Thank you very much Shaz.
Highly disappointing that Reckon cannot do line numbering, which is fundamental for referencing. Also, not happy that all customization has to be done in designer only.
