what Version do you actually own? If you logon to the members portal with your customer number and pin it may be in there for you to download
It is all downloadable from your Reckon Members site as long as you are up todate

To add more context I am a computer technician helping a client recover from a drive failure. They have purchased a new computer which I have been able to recover their data files to. I have installed their Quickbooks accounting 2010/2011 but they do not have media to update past R1. The internal software update no longer works so we cannot open their data at this stage
It has to be reinstalled and i dont think you would be able to activate an old version so you are compeled to get the latest version and it is only a subscription version, Reckon are offering a discount at the moment so call me to discuss and organise it for you.
