Access Client File

I have to access a client Hosted file, previously using their login.

With the MFA introduction, I still use their login, but obviously the client gets the code.

How do I set myself up as a user to access the file?

you can’t unless you buy a license, get her to send you the code

Do you know how much the licence is?

Seems a bit extreme, when other software, the owner can give you access within their licence.

The client can “share” their file to you if you have your own login

Yes, if you have your own licence, clients can share their files to you so you login under your own details & get your own MFA.

Yeah its a bit of shame. All of a sudden you need to pay for the software youre using.

yeah, I'm not paying $800 a year to access one file 4 times a year.

    That's ridiculous.

@JO-ANNE_7327707 Seems your course of action is clear then. Fire the client. Or get them to pay for it. Most of us bookkeepers have our own copy of Hosted. You need it if you are going to support the clients properly. The same as if you are to support clients usign QB, MYOB or Zero
