STP FINALISATION
Hi
is there a way i can drill down into the STP report that was lodged with the ATO each pay run?
The payroll reports do not agree with what is showing at the ATO.

Yes, click on the Detail link at the end of the STP submission line in Reckonโs portal. This shows you the breakdown for each employee. You can also then click on the Detail link at the end of each employee line to see how it will display in their myGov โบ๏ธ

I'm looking for the report of each individual STP lodgement for a particular pay date.
The detail report shows year to date.

I would think that whatever is in the payroll totals report is whatโs in the STP report. I always check the totals with this report when I export the file

there is a difference. It looks to me like all pay runs haven't been lodged.
So when I do the final pay run and lodge it, it should show the total for each employee, is that correct?

yes the EOFY lodgement will include all pays for the year, that too should be checked against the payroll totals report
Every submission includes YTD figures for all people included, if an employee isnโt included in that pay it wonโt include the YTD figure but will be included in the EOFY one

Just to clarify โฆ STP doesn't report each pay run's figures, it just updates the YTD balances each submission.
I never lodge an STP submission without checking the figures against my custom report(s) which you can find the instructions for in this thread here:
I use a modified version of this "Per Pay" report - just displaying Columns by Employee instead - for EOFY finalisation. You can run this at any time to see employee's YTD balances (as per Reckon's STP figures) ๐
