Reckon Accounts 2022

Has anyone else been asked to re-subscribe for Reckon Accounts 2022? No software updates I'm aware of - it seems to be a moribund product on which no development is being done yet it is to cost me $205pa (up $15). When I attempt to use the Help menu I am deluged with scripting errors as the embedded web page cannot be rendered and I need to use Task Manager to get out! Any one offering an alternative for simple home accounts and Australian SMSF portfolio tracking?

I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with your Reckon Accounts Personal.

The subscription model for the software currently is on a yearly basis.

If you'd like, I could try and figure out what's causing your software to bring up these errors?

Gerry, simply go to Help in the menu and select "Product and Customer Support" or "Submit Feedback on Reckon Products". I had been hoping to see a software upgrade to 2022 but the embedded Web did not render the scripts - and the popups went forever!

Doesn't matter which datafile I'm accessing at the time (I have several), its something inherent in the Help PHP system. The scripts are too old to render HTML correctly at a guess. (PHP V2 ???)

Thanks Gerry, I guess I'll just quietly pay up again and put up with it! I've got a long record with Quicken through many, many years (pre Reckon) and have my full SMSF history of trades so I feel like I'm over a barrel really.
