Dear @Aron ,
Is it the same transaction that causes the crash? Or is it different transactions each time?
Do you know where your company file is located?
Kind regards,

Editing an existing transaction was a common problem years ago. Used to crash all the time, I often had to use a work around. Hasn’t been a problem for a long time though for me

It hasn't happhappened for a wile but it has come back for me

Dear @Aron ,
This is likely a corrupt transaction, and is crashing out the system when you go to modify it.
You will need to delete this transaction, and recreate it.
To do so, you will need to go to your Chart of Accounts and into either the Accounts Receivable (if this is an Invoice) or into the Accounts Payable (if this is a Bill), and delete it from the registry there.
After that, it will be a simple matter of re-entering the transaction.

I think I have overcome it.
When I opened Reckon it opened with my Personal File. I needed my Trust File so I opened it and tried to edit a transtransaction. Then It crashed.
This time I opened the Trust file without editing any transactions, the closed the file. I then reopened the Trust file and have edited the transactions without problem.

Dear @Aron ,
I'm glad to hear you've found a solution.
If you have the same issue, or it keeps coming up, I might advise the advise I gave previously.
Otherwise, I hope you aren't bothered by this issue again. 🙂
