Cant access company file - says someone else is in single user

Help please

I have been using my company file all morning. We have multiple companies and I logged out and was using one of our other company files. When I went back to try and log into orginal file I got the attached message.

I checked with everyone else who has access to the file and no one else is using it. normally I can log onto the control panel and boot all users out. I have done this multiple times and still cant access. I also rebooted my computer. Still same error message.

Any help would be great. I was in the middle of doing payroll so I need to finish it or I will have angry staff.

Is the error still occurring for you? Is this a shared file? Have you attempted to Open or restore the existing company and chose the correct file?

Hi Karren,

It is a shared file. I tried using the open or restore an existing company tab you screenshot above. Same error. So weird. I had someone else try from different location, different computer and different log in and still same problem.
