The Calander, Calculator and Caterogy will not drop down.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Ensure you have no pop-up windows that may be taking priority first.
Outside of that, can you still access the Calendar on the Home tab? Can you select it from the toolbar above this as well?
As for Calculator and Category, which calculator and which category?

The buttons I speak of are on the transaction entry line. Entering a Date, Payee and Cartorgy.
I don't know what you refer to regarding the pop-ups' priority.

Try shutting the program and opening again. If that doesn't work try

Register
AutoFill
Provide drop-down lists on field entry (make sure it's ticked)

No joy in that solution.
I did notice something in the backup line.

But seems to be going back 12 months. And it was working correctly over that time.

If your file has a similar name to this backup, it's possible that you are overflowing the naming scheme of Reckon Personal Plus.
You may want to rename your main Personal File below 16 characters long.
Try renaming your data file @Murph51 and your data file could also be sitting in the backup folder instead of Documnets > Quicken folder
