Do i need to upload the super export CSV file somewhere? Or is this done with the STP reporting?

I note with 2025 version of reckon accounts hosted that there is a separate button for super export when choosing data to upload with STP. I have clicked the super export button and it creates a CSV file. What do i do with it from here as it appears the Super information is included in the STP file as it always has been. Am i missing something?

this is to enable you to upload it to your super clearing house, instead of manually entering in individual details. I am in the process of sorting this out too and you have to enter the employees super details in their names. I haven’t worked it out yet though

Thanks for that Kris - we only have a few employees, so it is not a bother for me to enter the details at the super clearing house.

I agree, however whilst it’s not law yet, and I could be mistaken, they are talking about paying super every week. I believe it will have to be in this export format and so I am starting to suggest to my friends that they start with the data entry which will have to come from the clearing hose detaiks

Yes, I believe pay day super is coming (next year?). I'm not concerned as we are in the process of closing up the business and I'm heading towards early retirement!

Well that’s a nice alternative. Hope all goes well

I believe as from 1st July next year we will need to report Super details weekly. I have tried to export the super details as a trial and upload it into the super clearing house but it tells me the format is incorrect? Does anyone know what I am supposed to do now. Do I contact the super clearing house and ask them what format I need to save it as? I don't understand any of this and was trying to get a head start and practice this before it becomes law.

Hi @Burnbaby ,
Thank you for your query.
To be able to extract super: Please navigate to Employees > Super data Export, select the appropriate period, and click on Export SAFF. The file will be saved to the Q drive, allowing you to download it at your convenience.
The correct way to prepare superannuation data for upload to a clearing house is by exporting a SAFF file (Superannuation Alternative File Format), which is a CSV file. It would be best if you ask your super clearing house whether they accept CSV format. If not, what format they require and also
whether they have a template or sample file you can match.I hope this helps. If you have any further queries, please let me know.
Regards,
Reeta
