Search function in names list

Hello, is it possible to create a search function in Reckon desktop?
On occasion we have known the customer name but can't recall their company name. Is there a way of searching the system to call up the name from the customer information details that are in the system? Same thing occasionally occurs with Suppliers.
Thanks Ann

In the Reckon Accounts Enterprise desktop product there is a search function.
In the example above you can see two customers.
Customer 1 as a company named "Company 1"
Customer 2 as a company named "Company 2"
Using the Find field with the search term "Company 1" and clicking the magnifying glass button will bring up, Customer 1 and the View field will show "Custom Filter…" since a search was performed.

You can do a find by many criteria, just open the file window (ctrl F) and click on advanced, and enter whatever criteria you wish to search by - customer, address, date, amount etc. you can put the Find icon on the toolbar for easy access if you prefer to use instead of Ctrl F

Thank you, I will try this.

The Find feature (shown above in Lists) searches your database within record info.
The Find feature (via the Edit dropdown menu) searches transactions 😁
