Lodging STP file from Reckon Accounts Desktop instead of Hosted


If I have to do wages on desktop version occasionally instead of Hosted, when I lodge the STP I will have to select the correct tab in the portal, does this have the same result as if lodged only from Hosted?
Also when I go to the reckon portal a window flashes and says something about a whole new look coming. I thought I saw June flash by, so is it supposed to be a new look now, because it opens the same one that’s always been there.

I’m not sure if I’m understanding what you mean 🤔
It will submit as normal, but each product has separate submission tiles because the file compatibility requirement differs between products 😁

sorry to confuse you, I believe the figures will all be included in the one income statement at the end of the year, regardless of different lodgement

The last recent change in look for the Portal was in regards to changes in display of your dashboard which was earlier this month. Could you be referring to that?

I’m not sure @Jason_Z - it’s not the window you come to and click on Reckon Gov Connect. It’s the one in which you need to enter your login details, after pressing enter a page comes up that says we are working on a new look webpage, coming soon. But then opens in the normal window. So is the 2nd window the new one, because it looks the same to me as always

Ahh, sorry, I didn’t quite understand before. Yes, the second screen is the new one which was updated earlier this year in June .
I also see a flash of the old screen before it redirects you and the new UI appears.
Not sure why it happens but I think its been the case for awhile. Let me check with my team.

So the new Reckon One login URL is: https://id.reckon.com/login/
The reason you are seeing the flash of the old login is because you may be using the old URL which was https://portal.reckon.com/, or possibly an old bookmark which was the case for me.
To avoid any confusion, we automatically redirect you to the new URL.

I'd also like to add that we've updated the internal browser in Reckon Accounts Hosted to point directly to the new URL.We noticed that it was previously directing users to the old URL before redirecting to the new login screen, so this has been fixed as well.
