Reverse Salary Sacrifice

Hi

We have employee that has requested the superannuation's salary sacrifice to be reversed from the last pay.

While processing the next pay for the employee we tried to put a positive figure for salary sacrifice in, but it kept on changing back to negative.

Is there a way to adjust the amount of salary sacrifice taken from a previous pay?

Thanks for your help

    Hi @megan_10040714

Have you paid it to the Clearing House/Super Fund yet ?

If not, you can simply Unlock Net Pay on the last Paycheque & remove it from there:

IMPORTANT: Make sure you click OK here AND Save & Close > OK on the main Paycheque window afterwards, to save your changes!

STP doesn't report each pay run's figures, it simply updates all YTD balances each submission, so any changes made will automatically be reflected in your next STP file ☺️

    Hi

Thanks, have not paid the clearing house yet. We have paid the employee.

Think if we just go in and unlock the pay, delete the SS, the net pay will change? The bank has been reconciled.

    Appreciate your help.

Mark the difference as a deposit and post to a clearing account- these 2 entries will account for the bank reconciliation. Then pay that amount to the employee and post to the clearing account which will then be zero
