Reckon Hosted Automation of Order Entries

I use Jotform to collect our wholesale orders and then I have to manually retype all the info in to Reckon

Is there some kind of automation (or AI agent) that can auto import into Reckon - using preset Item Codes for inventory

I spend way too much time on the daily retyping all the info

Does your JotForm export some kind of CSV file that contains the info that gets collected?

Are you 're-creating' that info from Jotform into your Reckon Accounts Hosted company data file as a transaction like an invoice, bill, etc?

If these orders are in PDF format, which i guess it is and then you are manually creating Tax Invoice, with multiple line items yes, CosmicBills can do it .

thank you, I think I have used your services quite a few years ago to sync shopify orders to reckon

For our wholesale orders we use Jotform, so that would need to sync across

I think I can at least get as a pdf, and yes then manually re-typing in as a Sales Order
all the ordered products need to be mapped across to Reckon item codes

Hi @donnamaro1, that's great :)

Since you’re using Jotform, it already supports an API connection that allows us to retrieve form data directly. This means you won’t need to manually export anything to CSV or PDF.

We can use my AutoSync app to automatically load the orders so you can review them before clicking Import. Alternatively, if the data is consistent and clean, we can fully automate the process, for example, when a Jotform record is marked as “approved,” it can automatically create a Sales Order in Reckon without any manual steps.

The video in my email signature gives a quick overview of how the app works. It’s not exactly the same setup you’re after, but it should give you a good idea of the process:

In your case, instead of connecting to WooCommerce or Shopify, the app can be configured to connect directly to Jotform to pull order data.

For the first stage, we can start by manually pulling the orders and importing them into Reckon to make sure everything works as expected. Once the workflow is confirmed, we can fully automate the process so it runs quietly in the background, and you’ll receive an email notification if anything goes wrong.
