Random scheduled payments appearing - can someone please help?

I have some scheduled payments appearing that I have not set up.

They are "auto" and I cannot edit or delete and in fact replicate so my bills list is full of random scheduled bills I have not created.

Can someone please help?

It always pays to do a Validate and then a Super Validate

@GerryWinter the problem has come back and is getting worse. If I validate or supervalidate, the random bills disappear, but then each time I open the bills list, there are more and more appearing. Do you have any more suggestions?

    Hi @jojo06

I had this problem some months back! I did the obvious......validate and super validate. With no success!

The only way I could fix my problem was to -

    1. Delete the entire list of scheduled items
    2. Whether it helped, or not, I then performed a Validate, then Super Validate
    3. Re-enter all my scheduled transactions ( a real pain!)

I've had no problem since doing the above...... but it does really annoy me that I don't know how the problem occurred in the first place!!!

    Good luck!!

    Cheers jc

This is a common situation when a file gets larger especially with memorized transactions.

I don't think there is any other suggestions other than what John did.

Maybe make a copy of the file and try it with that.

@GerryWinter I have done all of the above (deleted all scheduled bills, validated file, super validated file, made a copy of file and done the same) and it has made the problem 10 times worse! A lot more scheduled payments are now popping up - approximately 40 every time I open the bills list. Any other ideas please? Maybe I will just have to start a whole new file?

As a matter of interest, @jojo06 , what is the size of the QDF file with which you are having the problems?

The size of my QDF file is currently around 33MB

@John_8305976 it is 22.8 MB. I have just reduced the the size/copied the file and have only dates from 1/1/2020 in the transactions (and no scheduled bills except the random ones).

Hmmm, does the file size really matter, then??🤔
