Reckon Accounts Premier and Reckon Accounts Enterprise

Is the only difference between these two programs the licensing issue of the number of companies you are able to run with your user license?

Can you simply open your Premier file in Enterprise edition?

Enterprise is the tippy top of the range, gives you more users and inter-company file reporting. There might be a few other features that I've missed.

But yes, your file from premier will open directly in enterprise

If you open a Premier file in Enterprise I donโ€™t think you can go back and open it in Premier

Not sure it gives you more licenses.

    thanks for the responses.

I have recently been informed that premier is only allowed to have one company per license!

Trying to push to go to cloud but I am not comfortable with that.

Enterprise appears to have more company allowance.

the number of users is the same with both it is just the number of company files you are allowed to have with each platform.

yes I acknowledge that. However that is what was being offered as an alternative with a discount on further licenses.
sorry, reckon one as well, not even accounts!

Not sure when the change has occurred over the last 25 years ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Enterprise is optimised to run on Windows Server with TS. Its why it was invented. Kris is correct. If you upgrade to Enterprise you cant go back to Premier.

Apologies yes, I mistakenly mentioned licences when I should have said potential users instead. Thanks for the correction @GerryWinter
