Reckon hosted on a laptop

in Reckon Accounts (Desktop)

What is the minimum requirement of ram recommended to use Reckon Hosted. I realise internet connection is also a factor but have never tried on a laptop, and I use a PC with 16mg.

    Hi @Kris_Williams,

    You could get away with 4GB of RAM, but I would personally recommend 8GB as web browsers are memory hungry these days and other background tasks will have usage as well.

    You are correct that an internet connection does have a huge impact when using Hosted. Especially how far you are away from the wireless access point etc.

    That's no problem @Kris_Williams, if you do find yourself having connectivity issues and notice in task manager the RAM is not being eaten up by other background tasks or programs.

    Take a look at the performance tab and check out your latency and bandwidth usage like here:
